Hey Captains,
We intended to release this officially two weeks ago. However, due to the conflict in Israel, we've had to delay the final version. In the meantime, we are making it available as a beta for public use.
Download and Install it as yet another update: https://mega.nz/file/IZt2ELra#l7zVnVFTbumnZx4RQ2vev_OzZ-WBiE_p8T2ydpsY1Q4
Your feedback will be more than welcome, please feel free to comment here below on your experience! To learn how to use the multi-sound card feature, please refer to the following video:

rkApps team.
How are you testing this? On my setup, it only works if - when you are running XP - you Pause the sim and test a changed SimHaptic setting. Then unPause and see how it feels now. Rinse and repeat. Works for me.
can't get 1.02 to output test data to my sound card no matter what combinations of startup I try. definitely broken. switching to Simshaker for Aviators
something is wrong with 1.0.2.. i hear the noises in my vr headset. reverting to 1.0.1 fixes it
Any chance to get a new beta soon that:
fixes issues with SU15 (detection of the plane / profile)
removes the request for admin rights (and therefore can automatically start with the sim)
That would be really appreciated 😊
Auto-Start doesn't seem to work. I guess due to the administrative rights that are requested by the application. Would it be possible to remove them again? Why are they needed? I think this will fix the auto-start issue.
hello, the same as Mike, touchdown sample too light. Thank's for the great work !!
Hello, thanks for the update! I am really enjoying SimHaptic so far. I have a few comments for future development - hopefully here is an ok place to put them. Happy to discuss via DM as well.
Touchdown sample should be much louder. I think it should be a very noticeable "thud" on top of the engine rumbline sounds. I have presently adjusted all of the levels so that touchdown is at 100 and vibrations are at 15... I don't think the divide should be this big.
There should also be a touchdown sample played when the nose gear touches - not just the mains.
The flaps extension and gear extension samples should not supersede the engine vibration samples - it seems as if the engine vibrations go away temporarily if the flaps or gear are extending.
Maybe there should be a way to test "soft" landing and "hard" landing? Would love to be able to judge my landings based on the haptic feedback but I'm not sure what the difference in feel is.
Keep up the great work! Looking forward to seeing this app improve :)
Hi, my update would be about allocating a single ( extra Xonar5) soundcard to allocate sounds per speaker. Does this update do this before I download. That said, really enjoying the existing product to 5 haptics around my Sim
Initial test indicates that the 'announcing' vibrations occur when the aircraft is loaded, not when SimHaptic loads. Is that deliberate? If so, good. Also, minimising SimHaptic and then enlarging it again no longer results in a loss of functionality (ie, inability to adjust settings). Also good. A changelog would be helpful, so that we could check on other possible tweaks. Overall, a real improvement!
